Do the media exaggerate crime and people unnecessarily because of living in fear?
Reporting of certain crimes such as killing Columbine High School accelerating moral panic, causing the company to quickly adopt new policies of crime (the incident at Columbine, for example, caused many schools to adopt zero tolerance policies and stricter gun laws to be approved). By contrast, how the media accelerate crime criminal policy initiatives, and the Americans react very quickly to the media to adopt new policies, or are reactions improved due to the speed at which it was reported social issues?
