affiliate code
Is it better or worse for affiliate links to be encrypted or hidden tracking code for SEO purposes?
With Commission Junction, Shareasale and I think, they always ask if you want the encrypted link and / or hidden before you get your HTML code. I believe I read Google frowns on one or both of these methods, but not I remember exactly? Anyone have experience, knowledge and thoughts on this?
The correct way to handle affiliate links is that they do not show the affiliate code in the link. Doing so will result in less of a click through rate that will result in a loss of potential income.
